About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer / Executive for a leading industrial automation company specializing in Siemens PLC, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems. The position is based in Odisha and involves driving B2B sales across key process industries including Steel, Power, Cement, Chemical, and Mining.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct B2B Sales: Manage direct sales to OEM, EPC, and end-user industrial clients across Steel, Power, Chemical, Cement, and Mining sectors.
- Lead Generation & Account Management: Identify new business opportunities, daily/weekly sales forecasting, and active pipeline building.
- Technical Detailing: Present technical product offerings covering Siemens PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and Industrial Communication Protocols (RS232, RS485, Profibus, ProfiNet, Modbus, Ethernet).
- Target Execution: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key engineering heads, procurement teams, and institutional buyers.
Required Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering; or B.Sc in Physics / Electronics.
- 7 to 12 years of hands-on experience in technical B2B sales of Industrial Automation products and solutions.
- In-depth technical knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and field communication protocols.
- Proven track record of managing industrial client accounts across Odisha.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
